His daddy was killed in front of his mother by a young negro car-jacking thug and his killer received protection in the liberal press when his execution loomed near (he received a stay but was eventually killed back). Which is to say, he's so sympathetic that Democrats in the Senate will be forced to give him a vote.
5. He used to clerk for appeals court Judge Scalia and former Chief Justice Burger.
6. He was originally appointed to the federal courts by President daddy Bush.
7. Oh, yeah, he's from Texas.
